What do we have in stock? What is the value of inventory? How do the plants look? What is on order and PO?  Successful applicant will be the go-to person to answer these questions for all departments of our company. 

Native West Nursery is a leading native plant nursery in California and growing quickly through our reputation for technical knowledge, quality and customer satisfaction. We are adding talent to our team looking for someone to be our knowledge center by providing plant production, sales, accounting and our seed departments with accurate and timely inventory information. 

Successful applicant will be driven to deliver accurate and timely information. They will be process detail-oriented while keeping an open mind to system improvements. They will be comfortable with data entry on a computer, organized, timely and work well on a team.

Position requirements

Higher education degree in accounting or related field or equivalent experience.

Confident in spreadsheets like Excel or Google Sheets

Experience with business accounting/inventory management software

Work in full sun, inclement weather

Proficient in accurate and expedient data entry

Organized, driven, self-starter

Work well with an established team

Bilingual English/ Spanish

Nice to have

Familiarity with plant botanical names

Degree in horticulture or related field

Nursery production experience

Hours

Full time around 40 hours per week.

Pay

$18- $22 per hour to start, depending on experience

Paid sick, vacation and holidays

Discretionary annual profit sharing
